How does the dress hire process work?
Hiring a dress from Studio 41 is simple. Browse our collection, choose your dress and dates, then complete your booking.
You can either collect your dress from our Warrenpoint studio or select delivery across Ireland and the UK when booking online.
After your event, simply return the dress following the instructions provided.
Where are you based?
We are based in Warrenpoint, Co. Down, on the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Studio 41 offers designer dress hire across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with customers regularly visiting us from areas such as Newry, Belfast, Dublin, Derry and beyond.
Many customers choose to travel for a try-on appointment, then use our delivery service for their booking, so there is no need to return to the studio for collection or drop-off.
Do I collect my dress or is it delivered?
You can either collect your dress from our Warrenpoint studio or choose delivery across Ireland and the UK. The process differs slightly depending on your selection, and this is explained below.
Booking & Appointments
Can I visit the studio?
Yes, we operate strictly by appointment only.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book a try-on appointment directly through our website using the “Book Appointment” button.
If you’re visiting from Instagram or Facebook, you can also book via the link in our bio.
Can I try on dresses before renting?
Yes, we offer try-on appointments at our Warrenpoint studio so you can find the right fit before booking. We do not offer postal try-ons.
What if I can’t visit the studio?
We offer delivery across Ireland and the UK, so you can still hire a dress without visiting in person.
When booking online, please ensure you select the shipping option at checkout.
If you’re unsure about sizing or fit, feel free to contact us before booking.
How far in advance should I book my dress?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during busy periods.
Most customers book 6–8 weeks in advance to secure the best selection, although last-minute availability may occasionally be possible.
Can I book a dress and pay later?
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your dress and dates.
Pricing & Hire Period
How much does it cost to rent a dress
Prices range from £75-£135 for 4 day hire, pricing varies based on the designer brand and RRP.
How long can I rent a dress for?
We offer hire periods of 4 days or 7 days.
If you require a longer rental period, please get in touch. Dresses must be returned by the agreed end date to avoid additional charges.
I only need my dress for one day — why is it a 4-day hire?
The 4-day hire period is designed to give you flexibility around your event.
Day 1 is the day of collection or delivery, typically the day before your event. This ensures your dress arrives in time and is ready to wear.
You then have two days after your event to return the dress, so there’s no pressure immediately afterwards.
Can I rent more than one dress at a time?
Yes, you can hire multiple dresses. This is common for weddings, multi-day events or destination occasions.
Sizing & Fit
What sizes are available?
Our collection typically includes sizes 8–16 across a range of styles and fits.
What if my dress doesn’t fit when it arrives?
Our sizing guidance is based on extensive try-ons and reflects true-to-size fits rather than label sizes.
We are happy to advise before booking, however as a small business we do not offer refunds for fit-related issues.
If possible, we recommend booking a try-on appointment.
If you don’t usually wear structured clothing, please note that these styles may feel more fitted than everyday wear.

Delivery & Returns
Do you offer delivery and return services?
Yes, we offer delivery across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
Postal orders include a prepaid return bag for a simple and straightforward return process.
Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?
Yes, we regularly provide dress hire delivery across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.
Can I pick up my dress in person?
Yes, collection from our Warrenpoint studio 15 minutes outside Newry is available.
When will I receive my dress?
Our standard hire period is 4 days.
For postal orders, your dress is scheduled to arrive on the first day of your booking, which should be the day before your event.
When booking online, you must select your hire start date as the day before your event and ensure you have selected the shipping option at checkout.
Delivery times can vary, and we cannot guarantee arrival times on the day. Selecting your event date as the start date may result in the dress arriving too late.
If you would like your dress earlier, you can select a longer hire period.
How do I return the dress?
If you collect your dress from the studio, it should be returned there on the agreed return date unless alternative arrangements have been made.
For postal orders, your dress will arrive with a prepaid return bag included.
What happens if I return the dress late?
Dresses are often booked for other customers following your hire, so it’s important they are returned on time to allow for cleaning and preparation.
Late returns will result in additional charges. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.
Responsibility & Policies
Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
No — you do not need to clean the dress before returning it. Please do not attempt to wash or treat stains yourself.
Dresses are cleaned and prepared appropriately after each hire. If any issues occur during your hire, please contact us as soon as possible with photos so we can advise.
What happens if I damage the dress?
Customers are responsible for taking care of the dress while it is in their possession.
Significant damage, staining or loss will result in additional charges. This also applies to dresses provided for marketing or promotional use.
Do you charge a deposit?
For online bookings, a refundable deposit is taken at checkout.
Dresses are assessed upon return and, provided no damage has occurred, the deposit will be refunded the same day (please allow 3–5 working days for it to appear in your account).
For in-studio bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Can I cancel my rental?
Once a booking is confirmed, we do not offer refunds for cancellations.
Dresses are reserved exclusively for your dates, and cancellations may prevent another customer from booking the same item.
Other
Can I pay in Euro?
Yes, we can accommodate Euro payments. Please contact us directly to arrange this, as it is not currently available via the website.
I have a dress to sell — will you buy it?
We do not currently purchase dresses, as all stock is sourced directly from suppliers.
